- Decommissioning of Gas Heaters
- A licensed plumber will perform a gas leakage test when decommissioning ducted gas heaters. If a gas leak is detected, regulations by the Building Authority (BA) and Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) require the gas supply to be shut off until the issue is resolved.
- Astra Green Solutions’ plumber can offer a quote on-site to rectify the leak, or you may engage your own plumber to complete the work in compliance with regulatory standards.
- If the installation is cancelled after the gas heater has been decommissioned, Astra Green Solutions will not reinstate the heater. A service fee of $300 + GST will be charged.
- Paint and Surface Disclaimer
- Astra Green Solutions is not responsible for paint differences, wall damage, or patching behind any removed or decommissioned air conditioning units.
- Product Warranties
- Product warranty includes 5 years on condensers, indoor head units, and labour. This excludes installation-related parts and components.
- Noise Acknowledgement
- Please note that there will be operational noise from the condenser unit when the split-system air conditioner is running. Refer to manufacturer specifications for exact noise levels.
- Gift Card Eligibility
- Where gift cards or promotional items are offered, full payment must be received before they are shipped.
- Payment Terms
- Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the installation. Failure to make timely payment may result in interest charges, legal action, and/or the disconnection of the installed unit. Astra Green Solutions reserves the right to disconnect or disable the system until payment is received in full.
- Stock Responsibility and Ownership
Where Astra Green Solutions (AGS) delivers stock to your property prior to installation, you accept full responsibility for the safekeeping of the goods from the time of delivery until installation is complete. AGS will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the stock once it has been delivered.
In the event that an installation cannot proceed, you must provide AGS with access to retrieve the stock. You agree not to withhold or retain any goods belonging to AGS.
